Vivotek IP7142 with Wide Dynamic Range Support

Vivotek has released a video through their YouTube channel that shows a comparison between an IP camera not featuring WDR support and the Vivotek IP7142 IP camera that does include WDR support. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology, if included within an IP camera, can ensure an identifiable video image in high contrast environments where backlight, glare or light reflection may be present. This may include environments such as entrance ways or window sides where light is able to shine through. Without the inclusion of WDR technology video images may appear dark or unrecognizable in comparison to IP cameras with video streams produced in conjunction to using WDR technology.
