Arecont Announces PSIA Compatible IP Cameras

Arecont Vision announced at ASIS 2009 that the MegaDome and MegaVideo H.264 IP camera product lines will include PSIA 1.0 API Media Device Specification compliance. The Physical Security Interoperability Alliance (PSIA) is a global consortium of physical security providers determined on creating and promoting interoperability of networked physical security technology. Arecont is the first IP network video surveillance manufacture to incorporate PSIA compliance for H.264 capable IP cameras.
