ACTi TCM-5312 Now Available

ACTi Corp. has recently released the TCM-5312 IP camera, an extension of the TCM-5311 IP camera that has already been available for some time. Both the TCM-5311 and TCM-5312 are 1.25 megapixel IP camera devices with support for MPEG4, MJPEG and H.264 video compression formats. However, the TCM-5312 differs from the TCM-5311 by requiring 24V AC for power while the TCM-5311 features support for 12V DC power or Power over Ethernet. By introducing the TCM-5312, ACTi can now provide high performance megapixel IP camera devices that can cater to various power requirements that may exist. If low voltage cabling is required or if cable costs need to be reduced then the TCM-5311 with support for 12V DC and PoE is the right camera for the application. If the power requirement for the application is 24V AC, which is common for most traditional security applications, then the TCM-5312 is the right choice.
