ACTi TCD-2500 H.264 Video Server Now Available!

The TCD-2500 single channel video server featuring H.264 video compression technology is now available from ACTi. By utilizing H.264, network bandwidth requirements are greatly reduced in comparison to MPEG4 or MJPEG video compression set with similar configuration settings. The TCD-2500 is actually a triple codec video server and will allow for a single analog video stream to be connected for conversion into a MPEG4, MJPEG or H.264 digital streams with up to two simultaneous (dual stream) video streams supported. Video resolution can be configured from CIF up to Full D1 resolution at 30 frames per second. Other included features of the TCD-2500 are support for Two-Way audio communication, Wide Dynamic Range support and a video loop through output for passing an analog video feed through the video server for connection to an analog display.
