The Physical Security Interoperability Alliance (PSIA) was founded in 2008 with an objective of developing standards for networked physical security technology. PSIA promotes and develops standards for all segments of the networked physical security industry including video, access control, analytics and software. PSIA was incorporated in March 2009 and has grown to include close to 50 physical security manufacturers.
