HD High Definition (HDTV)
High Definition HD IP cameras (also known as HDTV IP cameras) allow for high quality video monitoring and recording. A HDTV IP camera allows you to connect the camera to a HDTV monitor and view clear detail of live and recorded video. This allows for better reading of license plates, facial recognition and more. HDTV is recommended for applications where large areas will be monitored by IP cameras with the need to zoom in on recorded video after an alert has been triggered. Many IP camera manufacturers provide HD IP camera solutions. These include AXIS, Arecont and Lumenera.
